Privacy

This notice covers this website and its early access waitlist. The product described here is still in development, and the full privacy policy for the app will be published before it launches.

Who we are

Until Wels has a company of its own, this website and its waitlist are run by Father of Web LLC, a software development company in the United States owned by Wels’s founder. You can reach us at info@fatherofweb.com.

What we collect

• The email address you enter to join the waitlist, and the time you joined.
• To stop automated abuse of the form, a one-way, keyed hash of your IP address with the time of each attempt. We don’t store the IP address itself, and these records are deleted within a day.

The website doesn’t use advertising or analytics cookies.

Why

We use your email address only to tell you about early access, with your consent: one email to confirm you’ve joined, then one when early access opens. We don’t sell it or share it for marketing.

Where it’s kept

The waitlist is kept with Resend, the service that sends our emails, and the website runs on Vercel. Both handle your address only on our behalf.

How long

We keep your address until early access has opened and you’ve been invited, or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first.

Your choices

You can ask us to remove your address at any time: write to info@fatherofweb.com, or reply to the email we sent you.
